At the AI in Science Summit in Dublin on October 15, 2026, the European Commission launched the AI in Science Enablers Initiative under its RAISE framework. NVIDIA announced it is joining the campaign, committing access to more than 250 open models, 250 datasets, and over 1,400 open source software projects across domains including climate, biology, and materials science. The NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute released a free, openly licensed courseware hub for accelerated computing. NVIDIA is also collaborating with AI factories in France, Spain, and Sweden to expand compute access for startups and SMEs. The company says 35 NVIDIA-powered supercomputers are currently in development across Europe.
