OpenAI's GPT-6.1 Terra model is now generally available on Amazon Bedrock, priced at least 50% below GPT-6.1 Sol and GPT-5.6 Terra, per AWS. The model supports up to 1 million input tokens with text and image input. Separately, AWS Step Functions workflows can now be used as AI agent tools via Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Gateway over the Model Context Protocol, allowing agents to trigger existing Standard and Express workflows without rewrites. Additional November launches include ML-KEM post-quantum support in AWS KMS, cross-Region trusted identity propagation in IAM Identity Center, GPU sharing via NVIDIA MPS on Amazon ECS, and Kubernetes Gateway API support in EKS Auto Mode.
