Google has made Gemini Omni 1.2 Flash generally available on the Gemini API and Google Cloud. The model supports native 15-second video generation, up from 10 seconds in Omni 1.1, with duration control in one-second increments. Google says pricing drops 30% to $0.07 per second for 720p output. New capabilities include multi-turn conversational editing, improved reference adherence for brand assets and characters, steadier camera motion, and more natural multi-speaker dialogue. Access spans Google AI Studio, Google Cloud, Google Vids, Flow, and Google Ads. SynthID watermarking is applied to outputs, and Provisioned Throughput is available for enterprise deployments.
