NVIDIA Frames AI Factory ROI Around Throughput, Longevity, and Workload Flexibility
NVIDIA argues its GPU platforms maximize AI factory returns through productivity, durability, and fungibility.
NVIDIA published an October 1, 2026 analysis positioning its AI factory platforms around three return-on-investment drivers. The company cites SemiAnalysis AgentX data claiming its Vera Rubin NVL72 systems deliver over 30x higher throughput per megawatt than GB300 NVL72 on the DeepSeek V4 Pro model. A September 2026 Sprout analysis cited by NVIDIA shows major operators have repeatedly extended server depreciation schedules, with some A100 units, shipped in 2020, still in commercial service. NVIDIA attributes hardware longevity partly to CUDA software compatibility across generations. The company also claims its infrastructure supports AI and non-AI workloads across hyperscale, sovereign, enterprise, and edge deployments.
