At IFA 2026, NVIDIA announced several local AI developments alongside Microsoft and partners. Inference optimizations for llama.cpp and vLLM deliver up to 1.9x higher throughput on a GeForce RTX 5090, with gains also accessible through LM Studio and Ollama. NVIDIA's new Personal AI Router (PAIR), a free open-source tool, is planned to distribute inference requests across idle PCs on a local network. Agent apps Hermes Agent and OpenClaw are planned to offer simplified one-click local model setup on Windows RTX hardware.
NVIDIA RTX Spark compact Windows PCs are scheduled to arrive in October. Lenovo announced its Yoga Pro 9n and Yoga 9n 2-in-1 designs, while Acer showed a concept desktop. NVIDIA describes RTX Spark as featuring a 1-petaflop RTX Blackwell GPU with up to 128GB unified memory. Game publishers Electronic Arts, Embark, and Ubisoft are among developers planning RTX Spark title support.
