AWS Launches Continuum Vulnerability Tool, ECS Gateway, and Polly Voice Upgrades
AWS releases several enterprise-focused services spanning security, container networking, and AI speech.
AWS announced general availability of AWS Continuum, a vulnerability management service that builds a context graph from repositories and AWS environments, reproduces exploitable findings in sandboxed proof-of-concept code, and opens fixes as pull requests requiring human approval. AWS cited its own honeypot data showing exploitation attempts four days before a CVE disclosure, underscoring the shrinking patch window. Amazon ECS Gateway, now available at no additional charge across commercial regions, lets platform and application teams share a single ALB across up to 25 services. Amazon Polly's Generative engine expanded to 57 voices across 11 languages, adding 14 new voices including two Brazilian Portuguese options. SageMaker AI training sessions reached general availability, and TorchNeuron entered public beta for Trainium instances.
