The Barcelona Supercomputing Center AI Factory Accelerator Programme, operational since April 2025, now offers select services through the NVIDIA Inception portal, according to NVIDIA. The program provides startups sovereign compute on MareNostrum 5, technical support, and training. NVIDIA says Inception complements BSC access with deep learning courses, mentoring, and venture capital connections. Three startups earned AI Champion status at a recent demo day: Qatium (water network AI), OneCareAI (atrial fibrillation detection using NVIDIA NIM), and Avatia (pharma-focused voice agents). BSC reports delivering more than 800 services since launch. A planned MareNostrum 5 extension would expand supercomputing capacity across European AI Factories, though no completion date was specified.
