Google's September AI roundup centers on Gemini 4 Argon, a frontier model the company says features advanced reasoning and a 1-million-token output limit, targeted at cybersecurity defense, legal drafting, and financial research. According to Google, Argon is currently limited to trusted cyber defenders via its Fairwind Program, with broader enterprise and developer access planned later. Additional September releases include Gemini 3.8 Flash for agentic workflows, 3.8 Flash Cyber for autonomous vulnerability patching, and natural-language voice models under the 3.8 Live family. Google also launched expanded app integrations in the Gemini platform, the Googlebook laptop for pre-order, a Windows Gemini client, WeatherNext 3 weather forecasting, and AlphaGenome Atlas for genome mutation prediction.
