NVIDIA RTX Spark Brings Local AI Agents to Windows PCs

NVIDIA and Microsoft announce co-engineered hardware and software for on-device AI agents.

At a Microsoft event in San Francisco on October 7, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang and Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella outlined plans to bring AI agent workloads to Windows PCs. Microsoft announced general availability of Microsoft Execution Containers (MXC), OS-level infrastructure for running agents securely in the background. NVIDIA RTX Spark, combining a Blackwell RTX GPU with up to 128GB unified memory and one petaFLOP of FP4 compute, is available for laptop preorder now, shipping October 16. Compact desktops follow in November. NVIDIA also previewed DGX Station for Windows, a GB300 Grace Blackwell-based deskside system delivering up to 20 petaFLOPS for enterprise AI workloads, with availability timing not yet announced.
